Application Options
Spray Bottle
Spray bottle application is best for dry spots and patches that can come from uneven watering, pets, or hot areas.
Hudson Sprayer
Hudson sprayers are great for small to medium sized lawns and for speeding up spot and patch spraying from a spray bottle.
Back Pack Sprayer
Back pack sprayers are great for medium to large sized lawns in both the front, side, and back yards. It also holds the most coloring.
For commercial, professional, larger areas mechanical type sprayers used in the industry are best suited for better production.
How To Use, It's Easy!
Directions: How to Apply Colorant to your Grass
1. Shake well before using.
2. Mix ratio according to directions on product package in the spraying container you attend to apply the G3 colorant from.
3. Protect all the areas you do not want to color green, with tape, paper, cardboard, paint shield and/or tarps. (If you get any G3 colorant on brick, concrete, etc. wash off immediately with water.
4. Adjust the sprayer tip to the finest mist setting. (screw the tip in as far as it will go to the right, this will be the finest spray mist.)
5. Pump up your sprayer to build air pressure and hold you wand 5-8 inches away from the lawn and move the wand tip in a circular motion to lightly apply the colorant. Do not over saturate the lawn with colorant, just a good fine mist will color the lawn. A nice green tint on the brown/yellow lawn looks the most natural. If you apply it to heavy not only are you wasting a lot of product, you may not be happy with the exceptionally dark green solid color with no variations in color like natural grass. After you spray a good section of the lawn, you can stand back and determine if you like what you have already sprayed. If you like how it looks continue the application the same as you have been doing.
6. (Optional) If you want it darker or with less variation slow down the circular motion and move the wand slower and this will apply more G3 colorant and give you a darker less variation color. Experiment with it, and of course try to do your experimenting in a less noticeable area like a backyard corner, not in the most noticeable area of your property that you want to look perfect!
* Do not apply undiluted product.
Tip:
Less is more, always start out by applying less G3 colorant and increase from there.
Warning:
This product will stain plants, rocks, sidewalks, driveways or porous substrates. Rinse immediately with water.
Storage/Disposal:
Store in cool, dry location. Avoid freezing. Dispose of empty container in waste bin when done.
Caution:
If contact with eyes occurs, flush with large amounts of water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. If contact with skin occurs, wash with soap and water.
